The 48-Hour Cinema Showdown was a 48-hour film festival that my capstone course planned, promoted, and hosted in under four weeks. This was the first year that this event has happened, and was the first 48-hour film festival at Ball State in at least five or six years (possible ever). That meant we had no logos, no flyers, no website, and next to no experience.
Except I did have some experience. As Public Relations Director for the Association of Collegiate A Cappella, I had experience planning, promoting, and running events at Pruis Hall as well as designing websites. So, I got to work, and within a couple days, we had a website up and running with a new logo, the official brand font (Condor), and a link to a Google Form for students to pre-register for the event.
Click the button below to see a backup of the website I made as it was after the final update I made after the event ended.
Theoretically, this should also prove that I know how to backup and migrate WordPress websites. Hm…
